Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, part of the Stellar Living family, is seeking a compassionate and patient‑focused Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high‑quality rehabilitative care to residents in our skilled nursing and post‑acute setting. You will carry out individualized treatment plans, focusing on restoring function, promoting independence with activities of daily living, and improving overall quality of life for residents. Daily responsibilities include implementing therapeutic interventions, instructing residents in the safe use of adaptive equipment, documenting treatments and progress in accordance with regulatory and facility standards, and collaborating closely with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care. You will communicate regularly with residents, families, and caregivers to provide education and support, while upholding infection control, safety, and ethical practice standards.
