Infusion Nurse

Part‑Time RN Infusion Nurse Beacon Clinic is a patient‑focused health and wellness clinic dedicated to delivering high quality medical care. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse to provide oncology infusion services. Job Duties / Responsibilities Providing compassionate oncology nursing care to patients Administering prescribed chemotherapy and biologic treatments in accordance with nursing standards and under the direct supervision of a physician Administering hydration, iron treatments and injections as prescribed Monitoring patients and assisting them in being compliant with oral chemotherapy Educating and instructing patients and family members regarding medications and side effects Accessing ports, PICC lines and starting IVs Overseeing infusion schedules and maintaining timely flow of patients Performing therapeutic phlebotomy Required Skills & Abilities Compassionate and caring bedside manner Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work extremely well in a group setting Ability to lift 50 pounds Education & Certifications Idaho RN License, required upon hire CPR/BLS certification, required upon hire ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card, upon hire or within 90 days of employment BSN, preferred OCN certification, preferred Infusion experience, strongly preferred Medical oncology and rheumatology terminology, appreciated but not required Pay Starting at $38 per hour.
