Adjunct Welding Instructor

This position is responsible for teaching welding classes face-to-face. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. Responsibilities Teaching classroom lecture courses Curriculum development/restructuring Helping in student success Required 6000 hours of welding work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in welding technology and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested welding experience. Expertise should include GMAW, SMAW, Oxy-Acetylene, and GTAW welding as well as cutting processes, safety, and blueprint reading. Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and good driving record. The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Ability to lift up to 30lbs. Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
