Fraud Tech Lead Software Engineer Cloud

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with formal training or certification in software engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• You should have practical experience across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need advanced experience developing with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• You should have experience with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, EC2, Kafka, and NLB.
• You need experience working with databases.
• You should be proficient across the full software development life cycle and have a strong grasp of agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We value experience using AI agents and copilot tools for engineering.
• You should have a strong understanding of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
• Preferred: strong enterprise architecture design skills that support a unified user experience through data sharing with APIs and Kafka.
• Preferred: experience with case management workflows and orchestration across cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: familiarity with vibe coding concepts and developer assistant tools such as GitHub Copilot for productivity gains.

• We design, build, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, using innovative thinking to solve complex technical problems.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We monitor and analyze performance data to assess product speed, scalability, and behavior across different hardware, software, and configurations.
• We act as performance advisors to teams, helping ensure performance considerations are built into development and infrastructure scaling decisions.
• We influence leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology groups.
• We proactively identify issues that could harm performance and work to prevent or reduce their impact.
• We plan and define methodologies for standard performance benchmarks and comparative analysis.
