This role is centered on building and evolving a modern private cloud platform using Kubernetes (OpenShift/Rancher), Terraform, and hybrid cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
This is a high-impact, architecture-level opportunity where you will help transform a large, established enterprise into a more cloud-native, platform-driven environment. The organization is heavily investing in modernizing legacy infrastructure and enabling an internal “cloud-like” experience for developers and engineering teams. You will play a key role in shaping long-term platform strategy, introducing automation and self-service capabilities, and driving adoption of containerized and distributed systems across a highly complex environment. This is ideal for someone who enjoys solving large-scale infrastructure challenges while influencing enterprise-wide technical direction.Required Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering within large enterprise environments Strong experience designing and implementing private cloud architectures within data centers Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms such as OpenShift or SUSE Rancher Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures that integrate on-prem environments with AWS, Azure, or GCP Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools Strong understanding of distributed systems design, including scalability, high availability, and resiliency Experience working with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices
Desired Skills & ExperienceExperience building internal developer platforms or self-service cloud environments Strong networking knowledge including L2/L3, load balancing, and segmentation Familiarity with EVPN/VXLAN, SDN, or advanced data center networking concepts Experience with Apache ecosystem technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink Exposure to GPU or high-performance computing environments Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or centralized logging platforms Knowledge of identity and access management concepts including Zero Trust architectures
