Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Telemetry monitoring with ECG rhythm recognition as part of the role
• Holiday coverage required on an every-other-holiday basis

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the same specialty required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both is required
• Travelers are limited to 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations, with a minimum 6-month break required before beginning another assignment at any of their locations
