MRI Technologist

Job Summary As an MRI Technologist, you will be part of a dedicated team that delivers high quality, value-driven imaging services across a dynamic clinical environment. Your role will focus on performing high quality MRI exams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the professional behavior and communication skills essential in a diagnostic imaging environment. Responsibilities Alternating 3x12 schedule: Monday-Wednesday & Wednesday-Friday 8:30am-9:00pm, with a monthly Saturday rotation 6:30am-2:30pm. Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients. Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols. Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner. Use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images. Guide patients through the exam process by kindly explaining steps and answering questions. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. Safeguard patient property and sensitive health information. Safeguard medication in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain respect for company property, patient financial information, and professional boundaries. Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships. Qualifications Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement while remaining professional in all situations. Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests & colleagues. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems. ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification. State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, if applicable. BLS certification. Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
