Logistics Coordinator

In this role you will proactively identify and resolve issues throughout the day — before they impact dispatch, timesheet review, or carrier payments — keeping daily operations running smoothly.Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:FleetWatcher AdministrationMonitor active shifts for GPS compliance and tracking accuracyVerify trucks are properly dispatched, assigned, and accounted forIdentify and resolve driver login, password, and application issuesEscalate unresolved technical issues to the system’s technical support teamShift & Project AdministrationVerify shift setup, project information, equipment assignments, and project cost codingEnsure source and destination locations are accurate and completeCreate and maintain GPS boundary zones for projects, dump sites, and staging areasAudit shift information throughout the day to reduce next-day correctionsOperational SupportMonitor recurring compliance issues and identify trends requiring process improvementsCoordinate with foremen, dispatchers, project managers, and carriers to resolve operational discrepanciesSupport carrier onboarding and user training as neededAssist with manually reconciling delivery tickets and validating dataDispatch SupportProvide additional dispatch coverage during peak workload periods and absencesAssist with truck assignments and creating dispatch recordsSupport payroll functions by reducing the administrative workload on dispatch personnelServe as a secondary resource for FleetWatcher and Central Dispatch operationsDesired Qualifications:Experience in transportation, dispatch, brokerage, logistics, or carrier operationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to identify operational discrepanciesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills with drivers, carriers, dispatchers, and operations personnelSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently #J-18808-Ljbffr Jurgensen Companies
