About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Quality to lead its corporate quality management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction in quality systems, quality engineering, and will serve as the senior quality partner to various functions including operations, engineering, product management, sourcing, distribution, and sales. This role demands a leader who can strengthen the quality management system, improve product and process quality, develop quality talent, and ensure reliable quality data and governance. The VP, Quality will also be accountable for leading the quality management system, representing quality in strategic initiatives, and establishing corporate standards for various quality processes. Applicants for the Vice President, Quality position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, or operations, with a strong background in quality management systems and cross-functional issue resolution. The role requires a leader with deep knowledge of quality standards, and experience in supporting supplier quality, new product development, and regulated products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with preferred certifications in quality management and Lean Six Sigma. Strong leadership, communication, and influence skills are essential, as is the ability to challenge constructively and align cross-functional leaders. The VP, Quality will be expected to build a culture of quality that is proactive and partnership-oriented, and to manage the function's budget and resources effectively.
