Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2220 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Prior travel experience required.

Unit Details: Post-PACU recovery care in a fast-paced post-surgical unit serving pre- and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios: day/PM 1:4-5; nights 1:5-7. Averages 10-15 admissions per day; average length of stay 2-3 days except joints. Uses rovers for medication scanning and Alaris pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: 12-hour day/night variable shifts: 7a-7p/7p-7a. Every other weekend and every other holiday. No on-call requirements. Hours may be impacted during orientation week and holidays when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
