Desired Qualities of a Respiratory Therapist: * Respect * Professionalism * Integrity * Compassion Duties of this position include: * Performs patient-focused Respiratory Therapy services. * Participates in Code Blue team drills and evaluations. * Provides education and staff training. * Provides oversight for environmental safety and equipment management. * Complies with all appropriate Joint Commission and CARF standards of care. * Participates in the interdisciplinary pulmonary clinics. PM22 POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) * Current CPR Healthcare Certification required.(BLS and AED) * Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred.(ACLS) * National Board of Respiratory certification required.
