Position is for nights on C Shift.**Job Description*** Monitors Line Sanitation, Ink-jet coder, Bagger operation, Dyna-pack operation, Settlers and Case sealers* Performs routine metal detector checks to ensure proper function of metal detectors.* Monitors line flow rates. Including regular checks for proper feed of product through baggers.* Monitors and adjust vibrators to gain optimum bagger performance.* Orders packaging material* Ensures proper container sizing* Records packaging machinery efficiencies, downtime, and fills out reports accurately and correctly.* Responsible for ensuring complete packaging quality of product taking regular checks or weights, seals codes, glue patterns, etc.* Complete CIL’s and centerlines.* Participates in AMD Drumbeats.* Reworks product when necessary.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Basic & Preferred Qualifications****Education/ Certifications:** (required/preferred) * High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred* Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements. **Skills and Experience:** * Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).* Experience driving forklift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.* Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.* Ability to perform basic math functions, required.* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. **Physical Environment/Demands:** * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.* Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature* Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies* Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.* Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.* Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
