Full-Time Dental Assistant.

Old Town Alexandria.

Our well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Old Town Alexandria is looking for a friendly, motivated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team full-time!

What You’ll Do: 

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:

• Assist the doctor in all aspects of general dentistry.
• Obtain diagnostic records (iTero scans, x-rays, photos, impressions).
• Fabricate Essex retainers and study models.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Record medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Assist during examinations and procedures.
• Provide post-operative instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Support inventory management and overall office efficiency.
• Contribute to patient satisfaction and help the office achieve its goals.

What We’re Looking For: 

• Available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as needed. 
• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience (general dentistry preferred).
• X-ray certification required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Case presentation skills are a plus.
• Familiar with Invisalign and iTero scanning.
