Shipping / Receiving Clerk/ Warehouse Associate

Hidalgo, TX 78557
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Rate: $14.50/Hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, receiving incoming materials from suppliers and manufacturing plants, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. This role supports inventory management, logistics coordination, documentation, and material handling activities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Coordinate material availability with Purchasing and Logistics teams to support production and shipping schedules.
Support warehouse operations and resolve material/logistics-related issues.
Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoices
- Shipper's Export Declarations
- Bills of Lading
- International Airway Bills
- Packing Slips
- Shipping Instructions
- Country-specific shipping requirements
Utilize third-party shipping software and systems such as FedEx, UPS, and T&T.
Manage shipping processes and related paperwork for the Hidalgo, TX Distribution Center.
Receive raw materials and process inventory transactions using company ERP systems and web platforms.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and generate reports for management.
Organize, package, store, and move materials within the warehouse.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when required.

Qualifications

Required

1–2 years of Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, or Logistics experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, MAX, or similar platforms.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively.

Preferred

Forklift operating experience and/or certification.
Experience with inventory control and warehouse management processes.
Conflict resolution and emotional intelligence skills.
