Sales and Marketing Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team of Adventure Play Experts. This role works directly with our sales & marketing team and provides general administrative and clerical office support, as well as internal sales support. This position will also assist with various marketing tasks, from social media to general graphic design. 

This candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a customer service environment. They should also be able to develop our ongoing business relationships through superior customer service initiatives, excellent communication skills, and an overall upbeat, positive attitude. Knowledge and experience in marketing or graphic design are not required but are a definite plus. Some of the specific duties and requirements are, but not limited to, the following:

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Answer incoming customer calls and maintain front desk coverage
• Assist in lead data entry and tracking in CRM/Sales system
• Provide superior customer service and professionalism at all times
• Develop a strong knowledge of our product database and services 
• Prepare brochures and marketing materials for sales proposals or presentations 
• Enter customer data and fulfill requests for catalogs, samples, and marketing materials.
• Manage inventory of marketing materials and office supplies
• Assist with customer support lines via phone and web
• Assist with content creation, editing, and tracking of email marketing campaigns 
• Update images, videos, and content on our various social media platforms
• Manage contracts, coordinate logistics, booking, and travel for the trade show calendar
• Coordinate and maintain a general office cleaning schedule
• Coordinate with team members to respond to and resolve customer requests, questions, or issues

 

Qualifications and Skills

• High School education or equivalent certification 
• 2+ years of administrative, sales, or marketing experience 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be punctual and professional
• Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills 
• Creative thinker with an eye for detail
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Excellent computer skills with general knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Apps for Business, Customer Relationship Management Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in graphic design, email campaigns, and/or social media marketing is not required but is a definite plus
