Provide excellent customer service and have consistent professional etiquette. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing disorders. Work as part of a collaborative team in a health care setting. Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services. Maintain department QI program and statistics and participate in house‑wide initiatives. Provide speech therapy modalities to all age groups, from pediatric through geriatrics. Investigate and report concerns timely and inform the Chief Nursing Officer. Qualifications Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology required. 2–3 years’ experience in acute care speech‑language pathology, barium swallow studies, and speech/swallowing evaluations. BLS required.
