Radiologist

Radiologist Salaries range from $400,000 to $500,000 per year. The position is based in Massachusetts, in a modern hospital or diagnostic imaging center. Responsibilities Analyze and interpret a variety of medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, mammograms, and ultrasounds, ensuring accurate diagnoses. Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging results and recommend further diagnostic tests or treatment plans. Conduct patient consultations, take medical histories, explain imaging procedures and results, and ensure patients feel supported. Operate and maintain cutting‑edge imaging equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Stay current with radiology advancements through continuous education and professional development. Collaborate closely with radiology technologists and multidisciplinary teams to streamline workflows and improve patient care. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Completion of a four‑year residency in diagnostic radiology; fellowship in a subspecialty is highly desirable. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent. Prior experience in a clinical radiology setting with a strong focus on diagnostic imaging. Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging patients and colleagues. Proficiency with advanced radiological equipment and technology. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
