Apply today!Like the look of this opportunity Make sure to apply fast, as a high volume of applications is expected Scroll down to read the complete job description.POSITION OVERVIEWImproving the quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education, by examining each person and then developing a treatment plan to improve their ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability.Essential FunctionPerforms and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's conditionEstablished a plan of care which is appropriate to problems in identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desiresEducates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment settings. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. xhyhwjd Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Required Qualifications and Skills1+ years of experience preferredPhysical Therapy License required by the stateGraduated from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association requiredBLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red CrossWorking ConditionsFrequent standing, typing, moussing, and reading paper and electronic documentsAbility to file and track documents and data, both in written and electronic formHours of business are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.On occasion, some early, late and overtime hours may be requestedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:1+ years of experience preferredPhysical Therapy License required by the stateGraduated from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association requiredBLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red CrossSalary Description$90,000 - $115,000 depending on experience
