Experience in commercial contracting. Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in the state where the position is located. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of contract, privacy, IP, or employment law issues in a technology context. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability and enthusiasm to leverage cutting‑edge developments in AI to enable smarter and more efficient work processes. Job Description As Corporate Counsel at Google, you will provide proactive legal guidance on the most exciting legal issues, shaping outcomes across the organization by drafting complex agreements and leading negotiations for high‑value, enterprise agreements. You will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, influencing procurement contracting, strategic partnerships, and global operations. Key Responsibilities Structure, draft, and negotiate high‑value, complex commercial agreements for Google’s largest and most strategic supplier relationships, including cutting‑edge technology and enterprise services engagements. Advise business clients and leadership pragmatically on legal issues and contracting approaches impacting enterprise‑wide, global operations. Partner closely with cross‑functional experts across compliance, privacy and information security, employment, and tax to deliver unified, holistic risk management strategies on major deals. Drive the continuous evolution of legal operations, deal processes, and company policies, including through the application of AI tools.
