Product Manager - Terminal & Hardware Products

Location: Onsite for first 90 days, then hybrid flexibility available
Salary: $100,000 - $133,000 base
Type: Full-Time, Exempt

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a technology company that develops hardware and software solutions centered around Android and Linux-based terminal products. They are seeking a Product Manager who can bridge the gap between customers, engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive new product development from concept through launch.


This is a highly visible role where you'll own product requirements, help shape the product roadmap, and coordinate efforts across engineering, QA, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure successful product launches.


What You'll Be Doing

• Gather customer and stakeholder requirements and translate them into clear engineering and product specifications.
• Work closely with software and hardware engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Own and maintain the product roadmap, including long-term planning and prioritization.
• Participate in Agile development activities, sprint planning, and product review meetings.
• Partner with QA teams to define testing requirements and validate product performance.
• Serve as the product subject matter expert for internal teams including Sales, Customer Support, and Operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional product launch activities across multiple departments.
• Track project milestones, timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure products stay on schedule.
• Help drive products from development through alpha, beta, pilot, and full commercial launch.
• Escalate critical issues impacting product performance, timelines, customer value, security, or compliance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent product management experience).
• 5+ years of Product Management experience with a strong focus on hardware and software products.
• Experience working with electronic devices, embedded systems, terminals, kiosks, or similar hardware-based technologies.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical product requirements.
• Strong understanding of product development processes and system architecture.
• Experience leading products in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Track record of successfully bringing products to market.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
