Platform Architect

What You’ll Do• Architect, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.• Working with application teams to define CI/CD pipelines from scratch.• Build observability, security controls, and platform governance best practices.• Collaborate with application, security, and architecture teams to improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery.• Lead cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.• Mentor engineering teams on DevOps, SRE, cloud-native, and platform engineering best practices.What You’ll Bring• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.• Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.• Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python language• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, reliability engineering, and governance frameworks.• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders• Experience using GenAI tools to accelerate your work. • Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving, collaboration, and client engagement skillsAbout UsSlalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. We also offer yearly $350 reimbursement account for any well-being-related expenses, as well as discounted home, auto, and pet insurance.Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Principal is $145,000 to $181,000 for Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, POrtland and Las Vegas. The target base salary range for Senior Consultant in the same locations is $118,000-$163,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
