Analytics Product Owner

Job Overview At Cambria, the Analytics Product Owner treats data as the product. You define the "what" and the "why" behind everything our Go-to-Market Analytics Pod ships — from customer-facing recommendation engines to executive dashboards to churn models. Location: On‑site in Twin Cities. Applicants must reside in the Twin Cities area. We are unable to offer relocation assistance or sponsorship for this role. Key Responsibilities Build and deliver program roadmaps in partnership with Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Research. Manage the backlog, broker trade‑offs, and keep stakeholders aligned. Identify dependencies before they become blockers. Handle communication up, down, and across. Own the roadmap. Define the strategy for analytics products and prioritize by business impact, technical feasibility, and user need. Translate ambiguity into action: turn vague business questions into well‑scoped initiatives with clear requirements, weighing trade‑offs of impact, cost, resourcing, timeline, and risk. Run Agile cadence: lead Jira‑based Agile prioritization across each vertical, manage backlog, keep work moving. Partner across the company, build trusted relationships with stakeholders. Stay close to users: talk to consumers of data, ensure intuitive and actionable ship. Oversee lifecycle from ingestion to visualization, responsible for product end‑to‑end. Track workload and performance metrics for Analytics Leadership, build products to measure them. Coordinate teams, track progress, adapt plans, and run regular reviews with teammates, partners, and executive sponsors. Qualifications & Experience 4+ years in Product Management, Data Analytics, or Management Consulting. Program management experience leading technical programs in analytics, data engineering, or cloud‑based software development (feature definition to deployment). Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Snowflake, BI tooling (Sigma, Tableau, DOMO, Power BI, etc.). Agile fluency: proven track record setting up and leading Agile development with SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or XP. Technical grounding: working familiarity with analytics architecture, databases, build‑and‑release processes. Strong judgment, problem solving, influence without authority, ownership of hard calls. Comfortable working outside your area of expertise: business discovery, simplifying problems, extracting what matters, proposing solutions. Excellent communication: written and verbal skills at all levels. Values: ownership, customer focus, collaboration, integrity, curiosity, learning appetite. Background in data science, machine learning, data engineering or BI is a plus. Managerial, Physical & Travel Requirements Managerial Requirements: N/A Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally; may need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Travel Requirements: Regular travel between local Cambria locations. Compensation & Benefits Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $100,000 - $134,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job‑related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
