Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Sedalia, MO The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for promoting a Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels. The role involves launching new products, developing strategies, securing formulary access, engaging in product promotion, managing sales efforts, and building relationships with customers, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives. Engage with customers both face‑to‑face and virtually. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, and identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies. Build rapport and relationships with customers, utilizing digital tools for successful engagement. Understand and leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities. Use approved product and disease‑state knowledge to deliver clear, clinically oriented information. Demonstrate market knowledge, uncovering barriers and drivers across all relevant business channels. Collaborate effectively and compliantly with cross‑functional colleagues to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives. Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly (e.g., entering calls, submitting expenses).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience. Professional sales or promotional activity background. Entrepreneurial experience as a small business owner, or background in marketing, customer service, and/or account management. Relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT). Educator experience (teacher, principal). Full‑time military experience. Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory. Valid U.S. driver’s license with a compliant driving record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical‑related marketing experience. Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, outstanding communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability. Experience in the vaccines therapeutic area and products. Knowledge of the posted territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations). Residence within the territory boundaries.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

Annual base salary range: $76,000 – $199,600. During initial new‑hire sales training, classified as a salary non‑exempt employee entitled to overtime pay; upon training certification, becomes overtime exempt. Additional quarterly sales incentive bonus.
