Medical AssistantAs a Medical Assistant, you'll be a vital link between our patients and providers, often the first clinical contact patients have during their visit. Working onsite in a fast-paced clinical environment and reporting to the Center Administrator, you'll bring together clinical skills and administrative support to help deliver excellent patient care.What You'll DoYou will document patient symptoms and history in the EMRYou will take and record accurate vital signsYou will administer injections and medicationsYou will perform diagnostic testsYou will collect specimens and draw bloodYou will sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, well-organized exam roomWhat You BringCompletion of an accredited MA training program, Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential, or 5+ years of relevant experience with Provider approval1+ years of Medical Assistant experiencePhlebotomy experienceExperience administering medication and vaccinesCurrent CPR CertificationNice to HaveActive MA certification or RegistrationValue-based Care experience including familiarity with HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experienceBilingual in English and SpanishWork Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00Location: Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care Center located at: 390 West Lake Mead Parkway, Suite 120, Henderson, NV 89015-7417This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
