Our client, a consumer goods company, is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Department supporting scientists and laboratory teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, analytical skills, and a strong commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Technician Location: Mason, OH Pay Range: $19.83/hr

What's the Job?

• Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists with qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Handle sensitive laboratory equipment to analyze samples, conduct tests, and report findings.
• Design and execute laboratory testing procedures, make observations, and interpret findings.
• Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify or reject hypotheses using scientific methods.
• Record test data and results, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

What's Needed?

• Degree in a related discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances.
• Skill in the use of laboratory equipment.
• Ability to create and analyze statistical calculations and prepare reports.
• Experience handling, organizing, and storing chemicals and laboratory substances according to safety instructions.
