We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team at Dickson Health and Rehab in Dickson, TN. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital part in ensuring the satisfaction, safety, and overall well-being of our residents by preparing nutritious and appetizing meals in accordance with physician orders, dietary needs, and facility standards.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes
• Ensure all meals meet dietary requirements, including modified textures and therapeutic diets
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with health department regulations
• Assist with food prep, portioning, and tray line as needed
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper storage of all food items
• Work closely with Dietary Manager and clinical staff regarding resident dietary needs
• Maintain accurate production and sanitation records
• Ensure timely meal service to residents

Cook Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, long-term care, or food service preferred
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety standards is a plus
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with strong attendance record
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule & Shift:

• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
• Morning and Evening shifts available
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
