Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hours/week option | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with an average daily census of 130 and 47 beds
• Manage a patient population spanning all age ranges (infant to geriatric) with complex and varied diagnoses
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty as required; travelers are first to float
• Work holidays as scheduled when they fall within the assignment
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of onboarding labs and required modules

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required (candidates with 1 year of strong ER experience will be considered)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online option)
• First-time travelers with strong Emergency Room skills and experience will be considered
• Must maintain a permanent address 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible
• No scheduling restrictions or special float requests; must be comfortable floating within scope

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department environments with complex patient diagnoses
• Comfort working with all patient age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
