Job Description
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

Schedule:
- Shift: 07:00-17:00
- Work Schedule: 4 -10 Hour Day Shifts, Monday - Thursday, call only with minimal weekend call (approximately 1 weekend every 4 months).

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Certifications:
- ACLS within 30 days of hire/transfer
- BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer
- One of the following:
- ARRT-R (Radiography) and MRT through TX Medical Board
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
- CEPS (Certified Electrophysiology Specialist)
- CCDS (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures.
- Prepare the room and necessary equipment for procedures.
- Instruct patients and monitor their conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide routine and emergency care during procedures.
- Contribute to the orientation and training of other team members.
- Help in quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting.
