Associate Director, Operational Excellence

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director of Operational Excellence to lead continuous improvement strategies and programs at the Bothell Cell Therapy manufacturing site. This role manages an operational excellence team, guides site leadership on CI deployment in a GMP environment, and drives sustained performance improvements aligned with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute site operational excellence strategy aligned with annual and long-term goals
- Deploy and sustain site operating system including visual management and lean leadership practices
- Manage OE team's workload, prioritization, benefits tracking, and reporting to leadership
- Lead and coach OE team on goals, resource allocation, delivery, and skill development
- Partner with site leaders to deliver measurable improvements in key metrics tied to strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, Business, or equivalent
- 10+ years operations, manufacturing, continuous improvement, or related experience
- 5+ years hands-on operational excellence principles application
- 3+ years leading people or teams through direct or matrix leadership
- Proficiency in OE methodology, lean leadership, visual management, kaizen, DMAIC
- Working knowledge of GMP or quality-regulated environments
- Strong data analysis, project management, and change management skills
Compensation: $184,270 - $223,294
