Strategic Corporate Advocate | Mid-Level Litigation Associate

§ Practice Area : Complex Commercial Litigation / Delaware Chancery Court / Securities & Fiduciary Disputes

§ Location : Wilmington, Delaware

§ Salary : $310,000 to $390,000 Base Salary (Plus comprehensive bonus and benefits structure)

§ Schedule : Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 hours annual billed target.

§ Duties:

The incoming Mid-Level Litigation Associate will function as a pivotal advisor to the firm’s global clients, providing lead support on civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels. This is a highly technical role demanding mastery of the procedural and substantive nuances of the **Delaware Court of Chancery**.

Core responsibilities include:

⨖ Advocating in High-Stakes Litigation by managing commercial, corporate, and securities disputes, including the defense of class and derivative actions.

⨖ Representing Special Committees in internal investigations and advising on the fiduciary duties of directors and officers.

⨖ Navigating Securities Fraud Claims and federal/state regulatory inquiries on behalf of financial institutions and public companies.

⨖ Managing Bankruptcy Litigation and complex statutory appraisal actions, ensuring technical precision in corporate valuations.

⨖ Engaging in Pro Bono Advocacy by leveraging legal expertise to support community needs and diverse social causes, with full billable credit provided for these efforts.

§ Qualifications:

⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a top-tier, ABA-accredited law school with a record of **distinguished academic achievement**.

⨖ Active Bar Membership in the state of Delaware in good standing.

⨖ Three (3) to Five (5) years of substantive, direct experience in corporate and commercial litigation at a **major international law firm**.

⨖ Proven experience litigating within the **Delaware Court of Chancery**, with a strong command of its unique procedural rules and case law.

⨖ Superior drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills required for interaction with senior partners, clients, and the judiciary.

§ Skills:

⨖ Specific experience conducting internal investigations or representing special board committees.

⨖ Familiarity with bankruptcy-related litigation or insurance acquisition disputes from a regulatory standpoint.

⨖ Proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted case files independently while mentoring junior associates.

⨖ Exceptional interpersonal skills required to thrive in a **hybrid work model** (Monday through Thursday in-office) while maintaining high-touch client service.
