Product Photographer/Photo & Video Content Creator

At Holiday Bright Lights, it is Christmas every day. We live in a world of light, color and a little bit of magic—creating products that transform homes, celebrations and everyday spaces. Photography is a huge part of bringing that vision to life, and we are looking for someone who can capture the beauty, ambiance and emotion of light as exceptionally as the products themselves. We are looking for a talented, hands-on product photographer with proven experience shooting lights and illuminated products, a great creative eye and strong consumer-product experience. You know how to capture LEDs beautifully and accurately, create the right mood, style a shot and take an image from concept through final retouching and production. And while Christmas is at our heart, you will shoot much more—from wickedly fun Halloween décor to candles, everyday lighting and other illuminated products. You should also be excited about where the creative world is going, using AI, video and emerging tools to take great photography even further.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Create exceptional studio and lifestyle photography of LED lighting and illuminated consumer products, capturing glow, color and ambiance while delivering accurate lit and unlit product imagery. Shoot imagery for retail packaging, e-commerce, advertising, catalogs, retailer presentations, digital marketing and social media—from clean hero and detail shots to fully styled lifestyle environments. Style and art-direct shoots in studio and on location, bringing together environment, props, product placement, lighting and composition to create beautiful, compelling imagery. Own images from camera through final production, including retouching, color correction, compositing, masking, image enhancement and asset management. Use AI as part of your creative workflow to enhance and extend photography, create environments and variations, and explore new creative possibilities—without sacrificing product accuracy or realism. Shoot and edit video content, including product demonstrations, lifestyle footage and short-form content. Drone photography and videography experience is a plus. Collaborate closely with our Design, Marketing and Product Development teams while managing photography and video assets across multiple brands, customers and projects.

WHAT YOU BRING

A strong professional portfolio demonstrating experience photographing lights, LEDs and illuminated products, with a strong technical understanding of exposure, color temperature, white balance and color accuracy when capturing light. Professional experience shooting consumer products for retail and marketing, including packaging, e-commerce, advertising, social media and lifestyle applications. Strong studio, lifestyle, low-light and nighttime photography skills. A sophisticated eye for styling, composition, lighting, visual storytelling and creating imagery with emotional impact. Advanced photo editing, retouching and compositing skills. Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Hands-on experience with AI-powered creative and image-editing tools and the ability to incorporate AI effectively into a professional photography workflow. Video shooting and editing experience; Premiere Pro or similar software preferred. A hands-on, resourceful approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving creative environment. Drone photography/videography experience is a plus.
