MRI Technologist | Direct Hire

Location: Panama City, FL

Employment Type: Permanent

Shift: Weekend Shift

Friday: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Operate MRI and radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Demonstrate knowledge of MRI anatomy, pathology, and imaging techniques.
Process, organize, and maintain imaging records within PACS.
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members.
Adhere to departmental, regulatory, and safety standards.

Preferred:

3+ years of MRI experience.
Experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging environment.
Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and patient safety practices.

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required.
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist License.
ARRT (R) – Radiography Certification.
ARRT (MR) – Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Ability to participate in on-call coverage as needed.
