Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care in the Labor and Delivery unit, focusing on high-risk obstetric patients. This role requires strong nursing skills in a fast-paced environment and includes both patient care and collaboration with a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Manage high-risk and low-risk obstetric cases, including C-sections.
• Perform full patient assessments and document findings effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to optimize patient care.
• Participate in unit leadership activities as required.
• Floating to the OB or nursery during shifts as necessary.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour day shift position. Weekend shifts are required every third weekend, comprising three weekend shifts in a four-week period.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License
• BSN preferred
• ACLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, particularly with high-risk patients
