Exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school environment as a School Psychologist! If you have a passion for supporting student development and collaborating with educators, this contract position offers a rewarding setting to utilize your expertise. The role extends from early August 2026 through late May 2027, offering the chance to work onsite across two elementary locations, with a consistent 35-hour workweek.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker.
- Proven background in developing effective behavior intervention plans.
- Strong skills in coaching and assisting school staff to manage student behaviors in diverse environments.
- Prior experience in elementary school settings highly preferred.
- Ability to facilitate pre-referral and evaluation processes with attention to detail and sensitivity to student needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior plans.
- Support teachers and other staff in managing and improving student behavior across all school settings.
- Conduct pre-referral interventions and participate actively in the evaluation process.
- Serve at two elementary sites, ensuring continuity and coordination of psychological services.
- Work directly with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive educational outcomes.
- Document services and progress as required by the school district and applicable regulations.
