Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces or tools from ovens up to 500 °F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Sensoring Talking and hearing on the telephone. Physical Demands Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum in some food process areas. Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more. Items weigh up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3 ft × 1.5 ft. Cases are lifted from floor and stocked onto shelves up to 72” high. Carrying: Large items such as cons and pizza sauces may be carried; trays of dough weigh approximately 12–30 lb. Pushing: Trays on dollies may require up to 7.5 lb of force to push. Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder. Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the pizza assembly station; duration approx. 30–45 s per repetition. Crouching/ Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas. Reaching: Frequently to reach up, down, and forward; reach above 72” when turning on/off oven controls or changing prices. Hand tasks: Continuous use of hands; frequent forearm and wrist movement during pizza dough shaping, handling pizza peel, rolling cutter, and assembling boxes. Use of machines, tools, equipment: Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter and peel. Delivery / Driver Responsibilities Deliver product by car to customers, and distribute flyers and door hangers. Required to have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. Navigate delivery addresses and adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other sites while carrying product. Perform walking and climbing duties during delivery. Physical Demands (Delivery) Carrying: Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing flights of stairs. Driving: Deliver pizzas within designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift. Walking: Travel between store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations. Climbing: Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery. Work Conditions (Delivery) Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product and couponing.
