As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and patients. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.73 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities in a healthcare-related location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential hazards. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Support a professional healthcare environment by communicating respectfully, following confidentiality expectations, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
