Structural Field Engineer
A structural engineering firm in Nashville is hiring a Structural Field Engineer to oversee construction-phase activities on projects after design completion. Candidates must have passed the FE Exam, with 2+ years of experience preferred and PE registration in the U.S. ideal. This full-time role combines office and field responsibilities. Office duties include reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and coordinating testing services. Fieldwork involves conducting pre-construction meetings, performing site observations to ensure compliance with contract documents, and assessing existing structures. Travel is expected 1–2 nights per week.
