We are seeking a dedicated Activity Aid to bring the daily living experience to new levels for our residents/patients. One of the most important parts of their day is interacting with others through daily happenings with staff and other residents. Activities Aides must have the following: 1 - 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred) The Activities Aide Will: Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on the residents’ needs, interest, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plans Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy Assist in creating the activity calendar Follow and maintain established policies and procedures Encourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings We are an equal-opportunity employer.
