MIG Welding Position
Our client located on the West side of Cleveland is hiring for a direct hire MIG welding position. This company offers competitive pay, fantastic benefits, as well as opportunity for career growth.
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
2nd shift: 3pm-2:30am Mon-Thurs
$2 differential
Weekend shift: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am Friday-Sunday (work 36 hours, get paid for 40)
$2 or $5 differential
Job duties include:
- MIG welding and fabricating on custom parts
- Reading and interpreting custom blueprints and drawings from customers
- Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy-fuel & hand plasma)
- Following lean principles as well as safety and quality standards
- Conducting dimensional inspections of parts and checking for quality requirements
Job requirements include:
- Experienced MIG welder (5+ years preferred)
- Experience welding carbon, stainless, or high alloy steels
- Experience welding thick to thin structural members
- Ability to read and understand job instructions
