And we're just getting started — our marketing team is growing, and this is your chance to grow with it. The Role This is a generalist marketing internship by design. Whether your passion is social media, digital marketing, or brand and graphic design — you belong here, and you'll get to go deeper in your specialty while gaining experience across all of marketing. No rigid checklist of tasks. You'll rotate across live projects and campaigns as priorities shift — more variety, more ownership, more say in what you work on. And because A4E is AI-first, you'll work hands-on with AI tools throughout your time here, learning how modern marketing teams actually operate. What You'll Do Depending on your strengths and interests: Create and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Write captions, campaign copy, and promotional materials Design graphics, flyers, and branded visual assets Support email campaigns, newsletters, and multi-platform campaigns tied to real program milestones Track performance and report on what's working Use AI tools daily to brainstorm, produce, and sharpen your work What We're Looking For Drive and curiosity matter more to us than a perfect resume: Interest in marketing, communications, digital media, or graphic design (student, recent grad, or self-taught — all welcome) Familiarity with social platforms and/or design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) Strong writing skills or a strong eye for visual design (you don't need both) Comfortable taking initiative and excited about helping people advance toward better futures No prior professional experience required — we'll teach you what you need to know Have a portfolio, personal projects, school/club work, or freelance samples to show Have run a social account for yourself, a club, or a small business Are the friend everyone asks when something needs to look or sound good What You'll Gain Real, portfolio-ready work that actually went live Hands-on experience with AI tools shaping the future of marketing Soft skills training you'll use everywhere: leadership, teamwork, presentation, and communication Direct mentorship from A4E's marketing leadership Cross-functional exposure across social, digital, brand, and design A front-row seat to how a growing nonprofit scales its marketing from the ground up How to Apply Submit your resume — and a portfolio or work samples if you have them.
