Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related incidents, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and observing customer and employee activity.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, report suspicious behavior, and support closing, opening, and after-hours security-related procedures as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or a minimum of 5 years of armed security-related experience, is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
