The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs advanced vocational nursing work.
Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide care for patients.
Manage medication administration and treatments.
Provide medication education and complete documentation.
Perform computer data entry - Receive full training.
Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies.
Specifically, ICF-IDD Regulations, DSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
REQUIREMENTS :
Must possess valid LVN license.
Must have at least 2 years of experience
Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
Must submit to HHSC required drug test.
Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting.
Must complete facility and HHSC required training.
