Event: Haunted Harvest
Location: Rancho Charleston, NV (Springs Preserve)
Dates: October 22, 2026 – October 25, 2026
Shift Time: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Nightly) 

Position Overview

Our client is seeking professional, customer-service-oriented Unarmed Security Officers to support the Haunted Harvest event. Officers will provide a visible security presence, assist with access control, conduct patrols, and help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for event guests, staff, and vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain a professional security presence throughout the event.
2. Staff assigned stationary posts at: 
   1. Parking areas
   2. Event activity areas
   3. Metal detector screening areas
3. Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the event grounds.
4. Monitor attendee activities and report suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
5. Assist with crowd management and directional information for guests.
6. Respond appropriately to incidents and notify event supervisors of security concerns.
7. Complete any required incident reports and documentation.
8. Follow all post orders, site instructions, and supervisor directives.

Qualifications

1. Must possess a valid Unarmed PILB license (can have armed PILB, but unarmed position)
2. Previous event security, customer service, or security experience preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to remain professional and courteous while interacting with the public.
5. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

1. No visible tattoos (must be able to cover). 
2. No face piercings.
3. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
4. Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
5. Must be comfortable working outdoors for the entire shift.
6. Must be comfortable working in an environment where wildlife may be present.
7. Must have reliable transportation to and from the event.

Uniform and Appearance Requirements

1. Client will provide the event security shirt. Officers are responsible for providing and wearing the remaining uniform components listed below:
2. Black dress pants only (tactical pants, cargo pants, or BDU-style pants not permitted).
3. Black shoes or black boots required (Boots preferred, Tennis shoes or athletic shoes, are not permitted).
4. Officers must maintain a clean, professional, and well-groomed appearance throughout their shift.

Additional Information

1. Officers should bring their own food and water for the duration of their shift.
2. Event security personnel will be provided a location to park.

Uniform requirements and reporting instructions will be provided prior to the event
