Security Manager

Your future role at a glance Location: Nashville, TN Facility: Saint Thomas West Department: Security Schedule: Full-Time How you'll make an impact in this role Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a 24/7 security force. Ensure staff are proficient in non-violent crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. Emergency Management: Act as a key member of the Emergency Management Committee. Lead responses to "Codes" (e.g., Code Silver for active shooters, Code Pink for infant abduction). Strategic Planning: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability audits of the campus, including parking garages and helipads. Systems Oversight: Manage and maintain security technology, including CCTV, electronic access control (badge systems), and panic alarms. Liaison Duties: Serve as the primary point of contact for local law enforcement and emergency services. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Drivers License credentialed from the Tennessee Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
