The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent knife skills. As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, such as vegetables and meats, as well as assembling dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and specifications. Responsibilities: Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and specifications Use knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas, equipment, and utensils Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Assist with other duties as assigned by management Requirements: Previous experience working as a prep cook in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment Excellent knife skills and attention to detail Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent preferred Grove Bay Crawford is an E-Verify and equal opportunity employer; you must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. #J-18808-Ljbffr Grove Bay Hospitality Group
