Warehouse Inventory SpecialistReports to: Shipping & Receiving SupervisorDuties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.Performs counting, unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, auditing, shipping and making boxesCounts inventory before packing and shippingChecks, verifies and audits parts to ensure they are not damaged or defective.Matches pick ticket information to actual packed items.Keep work area clean at all times (5 S's)Education and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.At least one to two years of warehouse/inventory experience is required.Experience in a fast paced, high unit shipping environment.Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.Professional written and verbal fluency in English is required.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Computer software skills in ERP systems, MS Office programs and general data entry.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee successfully perform essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, use hands to finer, handle or feel.
