Professional Duties Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in a variety of natural learning environments based on the frequency and duration determined by the IEP team Conduct assessments for students age 3 to 6 years in order to determine eligibility and service needs related to occupational therapy Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP) with occupational therapy goals and intervention strategies that support children's functional participation in their academic program Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in a variety of natural learning environments based on the frequency and duration determined by the IEP team Support students' development in areas including fine motor control, visual motor integration, sensory processing and self-regulation, activities of daily living, social participation, and classroom engagement Collaborate with teachers, educational technicians, Speech-language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, and administrators to support integrated and inclusive educational programming Provide coaching and consultation to educators and families regarding learning strategies, environmental adaptations, assistive tools, sensory supports, and accommodations that promote successful participation and independence Maintain ongoing communication with families and the education team regarding student goals and progress Complete required documentation including evaluations, individual education plans, progress reports, and service logs in a timely and compliant manner #J-18808-Ljbffr ServingSchools
