Retail Display Installer – Technology Location: Travel up to 90 miles from home on average. Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement. Schedule: Monday–Friday. Weekends not required. Role Overview The Retail Display Installer – Technology is a field service rep responsible for installing, updating, and maintaining in‑store display fixtures and endcaps for leading technology brands (Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, HP). The role involves working independently, meeting deadlines, and using mobile apps to efficiently complete assignments while maintaining strong communication with store teams. Key Responsibilities Install and update sales floor fixtures, endcaps, and displays. Perform buildouts, resets, and repair of display fixtures. Follow planograms and client‑specific directives. Complete necessary forms and surveys before leaving a job site. Maintain and update displays per planogram and client requests. Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure display functionality. Participate in early‑morning installations and team installations involving 2+ people. Use virtual software and related tools to execute tasks and meet timelines. Assist other team members as needed. Submit timecards accurately and report anomalies daily. Work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Participate in and complete training and certification programs. Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows. Be available for weekend assignments as needed. Scheduling / Planning Hours and locations may vary week to week; occasional early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt. Project Execution Follow all directives, execute tasks fully and completely. Work closely with the shared services team to meet goals, identify improvement opportunities, and achieve operational efficiencies. Relationship Development Build and maintain strong relationships with the shared services team, local/regional markets, clients, retailers, and stakeholders. Foster collaboration and communication within internal teams. Leadership & Cross‑Functional Work Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and leadership while representing the company. Set a high standard for behavior, maintain a positive work environment, and ensure respectful communication. Work across departments and processes to align and achieve operational success. Customer & Client Satisfaction Ensure customer and client satisfaction meets or exceeds shared‑service field KPIs. Provide and receive feedback to improve services. Benefits $20.25 per hour. Qualifications Age / Eligibility Must be 18 or older. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Availability Flexible Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday availability as needed. Early morning and late‑night availability as needed. Maintain minimum 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period. Physical Abilities Climb a ladder up to 10 feet. Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Ability to kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, hold objects, and reach overhead. Adaptability Adjust to changing tasks and work environments. Communication Skills Communicate primarily via phone, text, and email. Use a smartphone for clocking in/out, taking/uploading photos, downloading apps, and connecting online. Respond to and maintain consistent communication with field services management within roughly 24 hours. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial. Experience Preferred Installation and merchandising experience. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to follow planogram directives and secondary communication. Technology Own an Android or Apple mobile device. Navigate communication platforms and apps independently. Training Complete all training assignments within designated timeframes. Work collaboratively and autonomously. Transportation and Travel Reliable transportation. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment/shift/day. Leadership & Communication Superior leadership and professional communication & presentation skills. Make sound decisions, show good judgment, and solve problems effectively.
