Overview: System Administrator 10+years experience Network Operations 10+years experience Knowledge of IBM zEnterprise server hardware Proficiency with SNA Architecture, Enterprise Extended and TN3270 configurations Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe Network Administration VTAM, TCPIP, FTP, SFTP, TLS, CASpool, LRS VPSDRS, InfoPrint, JQP, XPTR, Connect Direct, XCOM, Enterprise Extender, Session Manager Experience supporting zOS session layer encryption technologies, including development and implementation of Network Configuration Assistant AT-TLS and IPsec policies Install, upgrade, and maintain zOS communications server products including VTAM, TCPIP, FTP, SFTP, TLS, CASpool, LRS VPSDRS, InfoPrint, JQP, XPTR, Connect Direct, XCOM, Enterprise Extender, Session Manager Implement and manage IP filtering, port blocking, and encryption protocols (TLSSSL) on zOS Systems Customize IBM and OEM networking products and features using SMPE, and REXX Strong knowledge of encryption technologies and Certificate management. Experience supporting zOS session layer encryption technologies, including development and implementation of Network Configuration Assistant AT-TLS and IPsec policies Define and maintain Network resources such as PULU definitions and logon modes. Respond to incidents, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions, participating in on-call rotation if applicable Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach in identifying and resolving issues Familiarity with change control processes and ITIL best practices
