RN Medical Surgical Cardiac Telemetry ICU Float Pool

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide skilled nursing care across Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU, and ICU units with a focus on extensive cardiac care. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans, administer medications and treatments, and ensure patient safety and quality of care. The role requires critical thinking, clinical expertise, and the ability to float between specialized units as needed during night shifts. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, including ICU and extensive cardiac care.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing and ability to float between units.
• Experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Step-Down ICU units.
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills.

Special Considerations:

• Must be willing to float between ICU and Medical Surgical units as needed.
• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Work in fast-paced, critical care environments including ICU and trauma center.

Scheduling:

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Shift assignments may require floating between units based on patient care needs.
